Why work with us?

At Homeland Care, our work is about people – helping individuals recognise their strengths, stay connected with their community and live the life they choose.

What we value

We focus on each person's strengths and on how they make sense of their world. Our aim is to support people to regain hope, keep a positive outlook and make their own decisions. If those values matter to you too, you may find a place with us. You can read more on Our Mission.

  • Respect for every person's choices and background.
  • Empowerment and self-determination.
  • Connection with family, friends and the wider community.

The kind of work we do

Our team supports people in many everyday ways, which gives an idea of the roles involved:

  • helping people get out and about, attend appointments and take part in activities;
  • assisting with shopping, transport and staying connected;
  • supporting people in their studies or search for work;
  • supervising and coordinating support so it runs smoothly.

Some roles require relevant qualifications and checks. The requirements for any current opening are listed on our Careers page.

Volunteering and community

Skills and knowledge are central to building stronger communities. Whether you bring professional experience or simply time and goodwill, we welcome people who want to contribute. Learn more on our Community Network page.
